Description
So what’s the story behind this? In the dream, I was shown a physical map of the universe. Hundreds of giant glass-like orbs were spread all over the room. Each contained galaxies and star clusters, and they were all connected by fine silver wires that glowed. Everything on the map reacted to touch and it would shift every time I picked the orbs up.

that sounds like the coolest dream.. I'm jealous 
That being said, your rendering of it is really effective. Dream scenes often don't translate well to concrete images, but yours captures both a sense of mystery and the universe, while also being unthreatening (despite the dark colors), even emotionally detached, in the way that such dreams often feel.
